Practice with a clear plan.
Original exercises, a familiar test workspace, and feedback you can use.
One automatically assembled session
Mixed practice follows the 2026 section order across all four sections. It takes about 90 minutes, plus directions and loading. There are nine stages: Reading modules of 21 and 9 minutes; Listening modules of 18 and 11; sentence building for 6; Email for 7; Academic Discussion for 10; and about 8 minutes of Speaking.
The form is fixed and nonadaptive. It does not reproduce ETS’s calibrated adaptive routing. Prefer a shorter session? Choose a specific exercise.
Your place is saved. The clock continues.
Answers save as you work; check the save status before leaving. Refresh or resume from your dashboard to continue the persisted attempt. Leaving the page does not pause the deadline.
Reading allows you to revisit questions within the current module. Listening moves forward, and recordings normally play once without seeking. Completing a stage locks it and starts the next stage immediately.
New material, unless you choose replay
Fresh practice uses exercises you have not started on your account. Starting an attempt reserves its material across your devices, even if you abandon it. We never silently reuse seen exercises or shorten a mixed form.
If a full fresh form is unavailable, the start page explains what is missing. Explicit replay becomes available when there is enough previously seen material.
Your scores, without extra steps
Reading and Listening scores are ready when you finish. Writing and Speaking are estimated automatically. You can see their progress in results, and we’ll email your full test results when everything is ready.
These are practice estimates, not official TOEFL scores. Review your answers, recordings, and feedback to decide what to work on next.
Independent preparation, honest limits
Open Practice is not affiliated with or endorsed by ETS. Exercises are independently authored using published task descriptions. Listening uses synthetic speech; the full recording library is still undergoing human listening review.
Speaking practice includes a microphone check. There is no proctoring or official score calibration. For current official test details, visit ETS’s TOEFL information ↗.
